Keep Those Emotions in Check!
We all feel different emotions, some more than others.
We are only human.
Jealousy, anger, happiness, sadness, pain, joy...
These are all normal emotions and beautiful at that. It's so amazing to think that we can feel all these things. We enjoy certain emotions because we get to feel the bad ones as well. We feel sadness and yes, it can hurt like crazy, but at the same time, feeling joy is wonderful. Joyfulness wouldn't feel so blissful if we didn't get to experience its opposite. We wouldn't know what happiness felt like without a little bit of pain.
Jealousy is an emotion we feel when we love or care about something or someone so deeply that we're so afraid of losing it. Jealousy comes in many forms and is completely normal. Some people say it isn't "right" but an emotion is only wrong when it consumes you or it starts to hurt someone else. It's natural to feel these things. Only spend a few minutes feeling this way then let it go.
This world can be a very cruel place. There are things that happen that we may not agree with and that we have no control over. But, it's okay to be angry. The only thing we can control is our emotion. It's alright to take a moment to feel a certain way, just don't let it take you over.
Feelings become wrong or "bad" when they start to affect you or those around you in a negative way. Is it right to feel so jealous that you make someone uncomfortable or afraid to come to you for anything? Is it right to become so angry that you impose so much stress on someone else? As much as it's important to feel what you feel and be yourself, it's important to control your emotions as well.
Balance is key.
Don't let one emotion affect you so much that you don't get to feel anything else and don't hurt others in the process!
